Barclays Pingit: Send money with just a mobile number

Really interested to see what doors this app opens up.

It enables users to send and receive money using just a mobile phone number. Users can send payments of anywhere between £1 and £300, up to a maximum of £5,000 a day.

At the moment, it’s only available to Barclays customers, but Barclays have said the second version will allow non-Barclays customers to use the service.
